A quiet, modern resort, some 60km from Palma Airport, Playa De Muro shares the same stretch of coastline as the resorts of Alcudia and Can Picafort, and like them, has transfer times of around 1 - 1� hours.

The resort spans a stretch of fabulous white sandy beach with plenty of space for sunbathing and playing with children. Soft clean sand slopes gently to clear warm water and the beach is great for families with children.

Watersports facilities are available, such as windsurfing and jet-ski hire, as are sun loungers and parasols. There are also boat trips available from Playa De Muro.

A quiet, fairly relaxed resort, Play de Muro has a more exclusive feel than its neighbours Alcudia and Can Picafort. Most of the hotels here are four or five star and the resort tends to cater for the more upmarket holiday maker, with all-inclusive deals being very popular.

Stroll along the promenade and you will enjoy fabulous views of the bay and the sparkling Mediterranean sea.

The resort has a small selection of shops selling beachwear, accessories and souvenires, and also has a street market on Saturdays which is well worth a visit.

The resort also have a selection of bars, restaurants and cafes, including some British and other internationally-themed restaurants as well as more traditional Spanish dining options.

Playa de Muro is a relatively undiscovered and exclusive spot, ideal for anyone seeking a peaceful, relaxing holiday, and is family friendly with activities such as a maze in the resort centre.

Nearby S'Albufera Park is a wildlife / nature reserve on the outskirts of Playa de Muro and a bird-lovers delight as well as attracting families for days out.
